The most recommended months to travel are April and September, as they coincide with the beginning and end of these seasons, respectively.

The best river for fishing is Paraná River, where it's most popular fish is the Golden Dorado, but there are other species too such as: Pacu (Piaractus mesopotamicus), Pira Pita (Brycon Orbignyanus), Surubi (Platistoma fasciatum), and the main source of food for the Dorado, Bogas (which is similar to the American Carp).
